“Keep your BMX jive alive”

In 1981 at the age of 16 my life was changed when I saw this kid do a rock-walk on his BMX bike and from that day on all I could think about was how I could play, ride and make up tricks on my 20” bike. For the past 12 years I have been recreating this by hosting Bike-It in Ashland, Oregon.

Bike-It is a free event that was created to help promote, support and inspire bicycle and BMX enthusiasts in the Rogue Valley area. Over the years this event has offered a wide variety of activities from Ramps to ride, A Flatland show, Drag Races, KB’s crazy bikes, and a Raffle with a range of prices donated by the local community business.

This year we have a special 80’s theme and have invited the original HARO Freestyle Team – Ron Wilkerson, Brian Blyther, Mike Dominguez to perform a 25th anniversary show – Kevin Martin will be the official MC for this monumental event.

The man who is known as the “Father of Freestyle” Bob Haro will be joining the festivities.

Get your BMX jive alive….pledge now!

I promise this event will inspire and uplift many. Stay tune for updates…..
